Which Water to Use

Deionized water is perfect if it is specially produced for steam appliances.

Distilled water should be avoided. Its level of acidity is harmful to the metals and sealing gaskets of your appliance. It must be mixed with non-acidic water.

Tap water: If you use hard water, plan for regular rinsing depending on the intensity of use. Excessive limescale deposits may stain clothes and cause malfunction.
