A clothes steamer designed for the home
The Gecko-Steamer® MP900 combines the essential qualities of a high-performance clothes steamer: high-pressure steam that removes creases from all fabrics, a lightweight, easy-to-handle steam diffuser for reaching every part of a garment, and ease of use.
Its robust construction and stable base make it easy to steam shirts and trousers as well as jackets, coats and heavy fabrics. Its multi-position board also allows flat ironing, combining two uses in one appliance.
Powerful, practical and built to last, the MP900 offers a complete garment-care solution for the whole family.
The power of steam
Effective steam depends on the balance between temperature, steam output and the force with which steam is projected.
At home: creases can be difficult to remove. Repeated washing, intensive spin cycles and tumble drying compress the fibres and set creases.
The force of steam: Produced at 5 bar, the steam penetrates tightly packed fibres to relax fabrics deep down, while low-pressure steam tends to remain closer to the surface.
Design details and accessories
High-performance non-stick finish
The heated soleplate complements the action of the steam and makes the task easier. Its surface treatment ensures smooth gliding across all fabrics.
Cleaning the steam circuit
This function removes impurities to keep the steam circuit clean.
Control panel
An LED display shows all operating functions. The MP900 has an audible warning when the water runs out. The display also indicates when a rinsing cycle is required.
2.9-litre water tank
The MP900’s removable tank can be refilled without interrupting use. Generous 2.9-litre capacity. Filling with demineralised water is recommended.
A multi-position board for steaming and ironing
The MP900 board lets you adjust your working position to the garment and the finish you want. Vertical, inclined or horizontal, it provides support whenever a fabric calls for greater precision.
Versatility and comfort
Gradually adjust the board from vertical to horizontal to choose the position that suits the garment and the way you work.
The board supports the garment from behind during vertical steaming and allows more precise work on areas that need extra support. For finishing or flat ironing, it can be positioned horizontally without changing appliances.
