1. Purpose and scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the “GTC”) govern exclusively the contractual relationship between:

  • The Seller: Salamandres Développement SARL, 135 route de Madiran, 32400 Viella, France, registered with the Trade and Companies Register of Auch under number 538 645 441, and

  • Any customer placing an order on the website www.gecko-steamer.com (hereinafter the “Customer”).

These GTC apply to all sales of products made through the website. They prevail over any other document or condition, unless expressly agreed in writing by the Seller.

The Seller reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The applicable version is the one in force on the date the order is placed.

2. Customer categories – Consumers and professionals

The products offered for sale are strictly classified into two categories:

  • Products intended for domestic use;

  • Products intended for professional use.

Definition of professional customer

Any person ordering a product clearly identified as intended for professional use shall be deemed a professional customer, regardless of their legal status.

By ordering such a product, the Customer expressly acknowledges that consumer protection rules, in particular the right of withdrawal, do not apply.

3. Ordering process

Orders may be placed:

The ordering process includes the following steps:

  1. Selection of products and validation of the shopping cart;

  2. Customer identification;

  3. Selection of delivery method;

  4. Selection of payment method;

  5. Final confirmation of the order after acceptance of these GTC.

Order confirmation and payment constitute full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC and form the sales contract.

For payments made by bank transfer, the order is deemed final only upon receipt of the funds.

4. Product information and intended use

The Seller takes the utmost care to provide accurate descriptions of the essential characteristics of its products through technical descriptions, photographs and documentation.

Product photographs are non‑contractual.

The steamers sold by the Seller are designed for vertical steam garment care only. Their effectiveness may vary depending on textile fibres, which is an inherent characteristic of steam treatment.

The Seller’s liability is limited to supplying a product that complies with the specifications stated on the relevant product page.

5. Prices

Prices are displayed in euros and include all applicable taxes within the European Union, excluding delivery costs.

Delivery costs are indicated before final order validation.

In the event of an obvious pricing error (manifestly incorrect or derisory price), the Seller reserves the right to cancel the order, even after confirmation.

Any customs duties or local taxes applicable outside the EU remain the sole responsibility of the Customer.

6. Availability

Products are offered subject to availability.

If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible and offered either a replacement product of equivalent value or a full refund.

7. Delivery

Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the Customer during the ordering process.

Shipments are carried out from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

The Customer must check the condition of the parcel upon delivery and report any damage to the carrier within the legally required time limits.

Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the Customer may result in additional shipping costs, which shall be borne by the Customer.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers only)

Exclusion for professional customers

In accordance with EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal applies exclusively to consumers acting for purposes outside their professional activity.

Professional customers do not benefit from any right of withdrawal, including where the purchaser is a natural person ordering a product intended for professional use.

Eligible products

The right of withdrawal applies only to products identified as intended for domestic use.

Withdrawal period

Consumers have a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods to exercise their right of withdrawal without providing any reason.

Conditions of return

Returned products remain under the Customer’s responsibility until receipt, inspection and validation by the Seller.

Products must be returned:

  • complete,

  • unused,

  • clean,

  • free from any damage,

  • with all accessories, manuals, original packaging and protective elements.

Any non‑compliant return may result in refusal of reimbursement or the application of a depreciation.

If a returned product has been used (filled with water or heated), a fixed contribution of €30 may be deducted to cover unavoidable technical inspection, cleaning and reconditioning costs.

A withdrawal form must be completed, dated, signed and enclosed with the return.

9. Returns

Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.

Where a lack of conformity covered by the legal warranty is confirmed after inspection, return shipping costs may be reimbursed up to €15, corresponding to the average cost of standard national transport.

Returns must be sent to:

Salamandres Europe
32 Avenue Georges Phesans
64330 Garlin – France

Only parcels received against signature will be deemed delivered.

10. WARRANTIES AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE

Warranty and after-sales service conditions differ depending on whether the purchase is made by a Consumer Customer or a Business Customer. The Customer must refer exclusively to the section corresponding to their status.

10.1. WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE APPLICABLE TO CONSUMER CUSTOMERS

Product selection and scope of warranty

The Consumer Customer freely selects the product ordered on the basis of its characteristics, performance, intended use and any specific conditions of use stated on the product page and in the user manual.

Before placing the order, the Customer is responsible for checking that the selected product meets their needs and, after delivery, for adapting its use, maintenance and handling to the characteristics of the appliance.

Gecko-Steamer® undertakes to examine every after-sales service request carefully and to cover defects that are actually attributable to the product, under the applicable warranty conditions.

A mere statement that the product is malfunctioning, dissatisfaction, an error in selecting the product, or its unsuitability for a use that does not correspond to the advertised characteristics is not, in itself, sufficient to establish the existence of a defect covered by a warranty.

The nature and origin of the malfunction are determined on the basis of the information provided by the Customer, any checks carried out remotely and, where necessary, a physical examination of the product by the Gecko-Steamer® technical department.

The warranties do not cover damage or malfunctions resulting in particular from use contrary to the product's intended purpose, professional or intensive use of an appliance intended for domestic use, lack of maintenance, unsuitable water or liquid, mechanical stress, impact, dropping, unauthorised intervention or any cause external to the product.

Water quality, liquids used and maintenance

Steam appliances must be used with the type of water prescribed for the model concerned. Where the product page or user manual specifies the use of demineralised water, this requirement must be observed throughout the life of the appliance.

Gecko-Steamer®'s recommendation is limited to the use of unscented demineralised water suitable for steam generator irons. No fragrance, fabric softener, essential oil, ironing product, household product or other substance may be added to the tank or water circuit unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring the quality and suitability of the water used. Gecko-Steamer® does not manufacture water marketed as demineralised and cannot certify its composition, conductivity, purity or suitability for a particular appliance. Gecko-Steamer® cannot therefore be held responsible for insufficient quality, contamination or unsuitable composition of water marketed by a third party.

The Customer must carry out the draining, rinsing, cleaning and maintenance operations specified in the user manual, at a frequency suited to the model and the intensity of use.

The presence of mineral deposits, residues or foreign substances in the tank, drain screw, boiler or steam circuit constitutes material evidence indicating that the water or liquid used does not meet the requirements necessary for the appliance to operate, unless contrary technical evidence is available.

Blockages, leaks, deterioration of seals, malfunctions or damage that can reasonably be linked to such deposits or residues are not covered by the warranty.

Inspection of pressurised steam appliances

Appliances that produce steam under pressure are particularly sensitive to water quality. During examination, an endoscopic camera inspection may be carried out after removal of the drain screw in order to observe the drain opening and the accessible inner walls of the boiler.

Any visible deposit on the drain screw, in the drain opening or on the inner walls of the boiler constitutes grounds for refusing warranty coverage for malfunctions affecting the boiler or steam circuit that can reasonably be linked to those deposits.

Images produced during this inspection are internal technical documents. Gecko-Steamer® may provide them to the Customer, but is not required to do so systematically.

Descaling and workshop refurbishment

Any preventive maintenance or descaling operations provided for in the user manual must not be confused with technical refurbishment in the workshop.

Gecko-Steamer® does not carry out curative descaling of a heavily scaled boiler. Such an operation cannot guarantee complete removal of deposits, clearance of all pipes, integrity of heating elements, seals, valves and connections, or the absence of loosened residues in the circuit.

Where the amount or location of the deposits no longer makes it possible to guarantee durable and safe operation, only a proposal to replace the complete boiler will be issued. Depending on the condition found, replacement may also concern all or part of the steam circuit, including pipes, connections, valves, safety devices, hose, steam head, iron or heated soleplate.

Where deposits result from unsuitable water or inadequate maintenance, this refurbishment is subject to a quotation and is not covered by the warranty.

Protection of power cords, hoses and steam heads

Electrical cords, steam hoses, outer sheaths, connections and steam heads are designed for their normal function. They are not intended to bear the weight of the appliance or to withstand pulling, twisting, sharp bends, pinching, crushing or excessive winding.

The appliance must not be lifted, moved or pulled by its power cord, hose, steam head, plug, connections or outer sheaths.

Cosmetic or functional damage resulting from mechanical stress, impact or improper handling is not a defect attributable to the product. This includes, in particular, tearing, cutting, wear or deformation of a sheath, damage to an electrical conductor, breakage or obstruction of a hose, tearing out of a connection, leakage or interruption of operation caused by mechanical stress.

Role of Customer Service and request for support

Gecko-Steamer® Customer Service assists the Customer with the management of their purchase and throughout the period of use of the appliance. It may answer questions about the product, remind the Customer of operating and maintenance instructions, suggest simple checks, help identify handling errors, open a case and, where justified, organise the return of the appliance.

Customer Service acts on the basis of the statements, photographs and videos provided by the Customer. These elements may help guide the checks but do not constitute a remote technical assessment and do not always make it possible to determine the exact nature or origin of a malfunction.

Where the situation requires it, only a physical examination of the product by a member of the Gecko-Steamer® technical department can confirm the nature of the malfunction and the conditions under which it may be covered.

Before any return, the Customer must contact After-Sales Service and provide the requested information, including proof of purchase, model, serial number, a precise description of the malfunction, photographs or videos and information concerning use, maintenance and the water used.

No return may be made without prior authorisation and without complying with the procedures communicated by After-Sales Service.

Malfunction reported within fifteen days of receipt

Where a malfunction appears and is reported within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the product, it is reasonable to consider that the appliance itself may be responsible for the problem.

After the initial checks, Gecko-Steamer® will cover the standard return by providing a shipping label for the carrier and service of its choice. This coverage does not constitute prior acknowledgement of a defect covered by the warranty.

The shipping label must be used in accordance with the instructions provided. A Customer who chooses another carrier or service will arrange transport at their own expense, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Coverage does not include additional costs relating in particular to express or priority transport, special collection, additional insurance, parcels exceeding the permitted weight or dimensions, islands or remote areas, customs or clearance charges, specific taxes or formalities, or an address different from the original delivery address.

Return after the first fifteen days

More than fifteen days after receipt, any return under after-sales service is arranged and paid for in advance by the Customer, unless Gecko-Steamer® voluntarily provides a shipping label.

After technical examination, if a defect covered by the warranty is confirmed, reasonable costs corresponding to standard domestic transport may be reimbursed against supporting evidence, up to the cost Gecko-Steamer® would itself have incurred and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, up to a maximum of €15 including VAT.

The choice of a more expensive carrier or service cannot increase the amount covered. Costs relating to international, express, priority, insured, non-standard or oversized transport, or transport subject to special formalities, are not covered unless agreed in writing in advance or unless mandatory applicable rules require broader coverage.

No transport reimbursement can be confirmed before the product has been fully examined and a defect covered by the warranty has been recognised.

Condition, cleanliness and safety of the returned product

The product must be returned in a condition allowing it to be handled, opened and inspected under normal safety and hygiene conditions.

Before shipment, the appliance must be completely cool, fully emptied of water, externally cleaned, free from significant soiling, cleared of any unauthorised product and accompanied by the requested items.

Gecko-Steamer® may suspend or refuse examination of an appliance received with water in the tank, boiler or circuit, heavily soiled, contaminated by an unknown product, presenting an electrical, thermal, chemical or biological risk, or in a condition that does not allow normal and safe handling.

In such a case, Gecko-Steamer® may ask the Customer to arrange collection or return of the product, or to accept cleaning or safety-related charges in advance. Processing of the case will only begin or resume once the appliance can be accessed under normal conditions.

Packaging, transport and damage sustained during return

The Customer remains responsible for draining, preparing, packaging, cushioning, protecting accessories and closing the parcel, including where a shipping label is provided by Gecko-Steamer®.

The product must be placed in its original packaging or packaging providing equivalent protection against impacts, drops, crushing, internal movement, pressure on protruding parts, pulling on cords and hoses and residual water leakage. Simply placing the appliance in a cardboard box without suitable cushioning is not sufficient.

The provision of a shipping label by Gecko-Steamer® does not constitute approval of the packaging prepared by the Customer.

Damage resulting from inadequate packaging, poor immobilisation or failure to follow the return instructions is separate from the malfunction that prompted the return and is not covered by the product warranty.

Gecko-Steamer® is not required to carry out a transport assessment, determine the exact date or cause of damage, assess its value or pursue a claim on behalf of the Customer. Photographs may be provided for information purposes.

Where damage is attributable to transport itself rather than to the packaging, any claim is handled separately in accordance with the transport contract and applicable law. It does not constitute a warranty claim concerning the product.

Where the parcel or appliance is received in a condition too damaged to allow a reliable or safe examination, Gecko-Steamer® may stop processing and ask the Customer for instructions concerning return, collection or disposal of the product.

Ownership of the appliance

Returning an appliance to After-Sales Service does not transfer ownership. The Customer remains the owner of the appliance during examination, any repair and any period of immobilisation.

Ownership of the returned appliance is transferred only after Gecko-Steamer® has confirmed in writing a definitive replacement or refund.

Technical examination and information provided

The technical examination may include operating tests, electrical, thermal or hydraulic measurements, visual or endoscopic inspection, examination of water, deposits or residues, opening of the product and checking of the relevant components.

Findings are based on the physical condition of the product when received and on the tests carried out. The Customer's statements are taken into consideration but cannot override material findings directly observed on the appliance.

Where a repair is covered by the warranty, Gecko-Steamer® informs the Customer that coverage has been accepted and gives a general indication of the work carried out. Gecko-Steamer® is not required to provide a detailed expert report, the complete test protocol, all measurements, photographs, videos, endoscopic images or the technician's working notes, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.

Where coverage is refused, Gecko-Steamer® provides the essential information needed to understand the decision, including the general nature of the damage, the technical cause retained and, where applicable, a repair quotation. This information does not constitute an adversarial or judicial expert report. A detailed report or all internal technical documents are not required to be provided unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.

No chargeable repair is carried out without the Customer's prior agreement. The cost of returning an appliance that is not covered, in which no malfunction is found or for which a quotation is refused remains payable by the Customer after prior notice.

Repair, replacement or refund

As part of its commitment to sustainable development, waste reduction and extending product life, Gecko-Steamer® always gives priority to repair where it restores the appliance to complete, durable and safe working order.

A limited intervention, such as reconnecting, adjusting, refitting or replacing a component, does not justify complete replacement of the appliance where it is sufficient to restore it.

Replacement or refund will take place where repair is impossible, cannot reasonably be carried out, cannot ensure durable and safe operation, or where required by applicable law.

Thermal safety devices

Gecko-Steamer® appliances may be fitted with thermal safety devices, including thermal fuses, designed to cut off the electrical supply permanently in the event of abnormal overheating.

A blown thermal fuse does not, by itself, prove an original defect. Where it is established that activation resulted from operation without water, insufficient water level, scaling, lack of maintenance, unsuitable use or misuse of the appliance, the resulting damage is not covered.

Where failure of a component caused the safety device to activate, coverage is assessed under the applicable warranty.

Complaints and applicable rights

Customer Service assists the Customer and organises the handling of the case, but is not an independent expert body, arbitration body or dispute resolution body.

Any challenge to a technical decision must be submitted in writing to the Gecko-Steamer® Complaints Department or Management, stating the Customer's identity, order number, case reference, the decision being challenged, the precise reasons for the challenge and any new evidence.

After review, a written reply is provided. In the absence of new evidence, Customer Service is not required to reopen or continue exchanges concerning the same findings.

In all cases, the Consumer Customer benefits from the mandatory rights provided by the law applicable to the purchase. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove or restrict rights that the Customer cannot legally waive.

10.2. WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES SERVICE APPLICABLE TO BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

Selection of the equipment and operating responsibility

The Business Customer freely selects equipment intended to meet the needs of their business, on the basis of its characteristics, performance, capacity, intended use and technical constraints.

Before placing the order, the Business Customer is responsible for checking that the selected product is suitable for the intended use and, after delivery, for organising its operation, maintenance and handling in accordance with the applicable instructions.

The power, robustness or professional designation of a product does not exempt the user from observing the conditions necessary for its proper operation and durability.

Gecko-Steamer® undertakes to examine every after-sales service request carefully and to cover defects actually attributable to the product under the professional warranty stated on the product page, invoice or any specific terms agreed at the time of order.

A mere statement that the equipment is malfunctioning, dissatisfaction, an error in selecting the equipment or its unsuitability for the desired use is not, in itself, sufficient to establish the existence of a covered defect.

The nature and origin of the malfunction are determined on the basis of information provided by the Business Customer, any checks carried out remotely and, where necessary, a physical examination of the product by the Gecko-Steamer® technical department.

The professional warranty applies provided that the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed, that the requirements relating to water, maintenance and intensity of use are observed, and that the product has not been subjected to unauthorised intervention, mechanical stress or abnormal operating conditions.

Professional use of an appliance presented as intended for domestic use is not covered by the professional warranty.

Water quality, liquids used and maintenance

Steam appliances must be used with the type of water prescribed for the model concerned. Where the product page or user manual specifies the use of demineralised water, this requirement must be observed throughout operation of the appliance.

Gecko-Steamer®'s recommendation is limited to the use of unscented demineralised water suitable for steam generator irons. No fragrance, fabric softener, essential oil, ironing product, household product or other substance may be added to the tank or water circuit unless expressly stated otherwise.

The Business Customer is responsible for the supply, storage, control and use of suitable water.

The Business Customer must organise the draining, rinsing, cleaning and maintenance operations specified in the user manual at a frequency suited to the model and actual intensity of use.

The presence of mineral deposits, residues or foreign substances in the tank, drain screw, boiler or steam circuit constitutes material evidence indicating that the water or liquid used does not meet the requirements necessary for the appliance to operate, unless contrary technical evidence is available.

Blockages, leaks, deterioration of seals, malfunctions or damage that can reasonably be linked to such deposits or residues are not covered by the professional warranty.

Inspection of pressurised steam appliances

Appliances that produce steam under pressure are particularly sensitive to water quality. During examination, an endoscopic camera inspection may be carried out after removal of the drain screw in order to observe the drain opening and the accessible inner walls of the boiler.

Any visible deposit on the drain screw, in the drain opening or on the inner walls of the boiler constitutes grounds for refusing professional warranty coverage for malfunctions affecting the boiler or steam circuit that can reasonably be linked to those deposits.

Images produced during this inspection are internal technical documents. Gecko-Steamer® may provide them to the Business Customer, but is not required to do so systematically.

Where deposits result from unsuitable water or inadequate maintenance, this refurbishment is subject to a quotation and is not covered by the professional warranty.

Protection of power cords, hoses and steam heads

Electrical cords, steam hoses, outer sheaths, connections and steam heads are designed for their normal function. They are not intended to bear the weight of the appliance or to withstand pulling, twisting, sharp bends, pinching, crushing or excessive winding, including during intensive use.

Gecko-Steamer® Customer Service assists the Business Customer with the management of the purchase and throughout the operating life of the appliance. It may answer questions about the product, remind the Customer of operating and maintenance instructions, suggest simple checks, help identify handling errors, open a case and, where justified, organise the return of the appliance.

Customer Service acts on the basis of the statements, photographs and videos provided by the Business Customer.

Before any return, the Business Customer must contact After-Sales Service and provide the requested information, including proof of purchase, model, serial number, a precise description of the malfunction, photographs or videos and information concerning use, maintenance and the water used.

This coverage does not constitute prior acknowledgement of a defect covered by the professional warranty.

The shipping label must be used in accordance with the instructions provided. A Business Customer who chooses another carrier or service will arrange transport at their own expense, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

More than fifteen days after receipt, any return of a professional product is arranged and paid for in advance by the Business Customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing or Gecko-Steamer® voluntarily provides a shipping label.

After technical examination, if a defect covered by the professional warranty is confirmed, Gecko-Steamer® may reimburse costs corresponding to standard domestic transport against supporting evidence, up to the cost it would itself have incurred and, unless otherwise agreed in writing, up to a maximum of €15 including VAT.

The choice of a more expensive carrier or service cannot increase the amount covered. Costs relating to international, express, priority, insured, non-standard or oversized transport, or transport subject to special formalities, are not covered unless otherwise agreed in writing.

No transport reimbursement can be confirmed before the product has been fully examined and a defect covered by the professional warranty has been recognised.

The professional warranty does not cover indirect costs relating in particular to immobilisation of the product, loss of business, staff travel, rental or purchase of replacement equipment, services provided by a third party or commercial consequences of the malfunction.

In such a case, Gecko-Steamer® may ask the Business Customer to arrange collection or return of the product, or to accept cleaning or safety-related charges in advance. Processing of the case will only begin or resume once the appliance can be accessed under normal conditions.

Packaging, transport and damage sustained during return

The Business Customer remains responsible for draining, preparing, packaging, cushioning, protecting accessories and closing the parcel, including where a shipping label is provided by Gecko-Steamer®.

The provision of a shipping label by Gecko-Steamer® does not constitute approval of the packaging prepared by the Business Customer.

Damage resulting from inadequate packaging, poor immobilisation or failure to follow the return instructions is separate from the malfunction that prompted the return and is not covered by the professional warranty.

Gecko-Steamer® is not required to carry out a transport assessment, determine the exact date or cause of damage, assess its value or pursue a claim on behalf of the Business Customer. Photographs may be provided for information purposes.

Where damage is attributable to transport itself rather than to the packaging, any claim is handled separately in accordance with the transport contract and applicable rules. It does not constitute a warranty claim concerning the product.

Where the parcel or appliance is received in a condition too damaged to allow a reliable or safe examination, Gecko-Steamer® may stop processing and ask the Business Customer for instructions concerning return, collection or disposal of the product.

Ownership of the appliance

Returning an appliance to After-Sales Service does not transfer ownership. The Business Customer remains the owner of the appliance during examination, any repair and any period of immobilisation.

The Business Customer's statements are taken into consideration but cannot override material findings directly observed on the appliance.

Where a repair is covered by the professional warranty, Gecko-Steamer® informs the Business Customer that coverage has been accepted and gives a general indication of the work carried out. Gecko-Steamer® is not required to provide a detailed expert report, the complete test protocol, all measurements, photographs, videos, endoscopic images or the technician's working notes.

Where coverage is refused, Gecko-Steamer® provides the essential information needed to understand the decision, including the general nature of the damage, the technical cause retained and, where applicable, a repair quotation. This information does not constitute an adversarial or judicial expert report. A detailed report or all internal technical documents are not required to be provided.

No chargeable repair is carried out without the Business Customer's prior agreement. The cost of returning an appliance that is not covered, in which no malfunction is found or for which a quotation is refused remains payable by the Business Customer after prior notice.

Replacement or refund may take place where repair is impossible, cannot reasonably be carried out or cannot ensure durable and safe operation. The solution is determined by Gecko-Steamer® according to the nature of the defect, the condition of the product and the reasonableness of the costs involved, subject to any mandatory applicable rules.

Thermal safety devices

Gecko-Steamer® appliances may be fitted with thermal safety devices, including thermal fuses, designed to cut off the electrical supply permanently in the event of abnormal overheating.

A blown thermal fuse does not, by itself, prove an original defect. Where it is established that activation resulted from operation without water, insufficient water level, scaling, lack of maintenance, unsuitable use or misuse of the appliance, the resulting damage is not covered by the professional warranty.

Where failure of a component caused the safety device to activate, coverage is assessed under the applicable professional warranty.

Complaints and applicable rules

Customer Service assists the Business Customer and organises the handling of the case, but is not an independent expert body, arbitration body or dispute resolution body.

Any challenge to a technical decision must be submitted in writing to the Gecko-Steamer® Complaints Department or Management, stating the Business Customer's identity, order number, case reference, the decision being challenged, the precise reasons for the challenge and any new evidence.

After review, a written reply is provided. In the absence of new evidence, Customer Service is not required to reopen or continue exchanges concerning the same findings.

These terms define the contractual framework of the professional warranty and after-sales service, subject to any mandatory provisions applicable to the sale concerned.

10.3. ONE-YEAR EXTENSION OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD

Gecko-Steamer® grants an additional one-year warranty, bringing the total warranty period to three years from the date of delivery of the product:

  • for products intended for professional use ordered on or after 1 January 2025;

  • for products intended for domestic use ordered on or after 1 August 2026, excluding handheld garment steamers.

This one-year extension takes effect at the end of the first two years of warranty. It remains subject to the conditions of use, maintenance, exclusions and coverage set out in these Terms and Conditions of Sale. It neither limits nor replaces any mandatory statutory warranties that may apply to the Customer.

11. Abuse of dispute procedures – payment platforms

Payment methods offered on the website, including PayPal, are provided solely as secure payment solutions and do not constitute alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

In the event of a dispute, the Customer must first contact the Seller and follow the procedures set out in these GTC.

Any dispute initiated via a third‑party payment platform in manifest violation of these GTC, and without valid legal grounds, may be considered abusive.

In such cases, and after confirmation of the proper application of these GTC, a fixed contribution of up to €30 may be charged to cover administrative and technical handling costs.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by French law.

However, where the Customer is a consumer residing in another Member State of the European Union, they benefit from any mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence where such provisions are more favourable.

An amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
